PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS -  SUPPLEMENTS	Products which have supplement claims, to enhance root development or vegetative development of a plant are considered to be PGRs subject to regulation under fertilizer legislation. Such claims include termination of dormancy, induction of germination or sprouting and plant growth promotion.
REGULATION	Plant Growth Regulators which have supplement claims, promote or enhance plant growth are regulated under the Fertilizer Act and Regulations which are administered by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
